What Is Merrimack PEG Access TV?
Merrimack PEG Access TV (Public, Education and Government Television) gives you a voice on cable television by providing video training, equipment, facilities and channel time for Merrimack residents and nonprofit groups who serve Merrimack. Merrimack Television reaches 28,000 viewers in the Town of Merrimack.

What makes PEG Access Television unique is that this resource belongs to the people of the community. Whether you're a viewer or a producer, Merrimack's PEG Access Channels strive to serve you.
The Government Channel provides full coverage of almost every municipal Board and Committee meeting. The gavel to gavel coverage is taped in it's entirety, and rebroadcast several times a week. The Education Channel hosts not only student, parent and faculty submitted programs, but also broadcasts regular meetings of the Merrimack School Board. This allows you to stay informed on the decisions your local public officials are making; while the Community Channel is the forum to express your diverse viewpoints, educate or simply entertain nearly 28,000 Merrimack residents.
With your PEG Access Channels, you're able to share your opinions, access art and educational resources, and most importantly - stay informed by informing each other. Any resident is eligible to use the Merrimack Community Channel. The Town's PEG Access TV Studio is the facility to provide training and support. Become involved today, whether it's turning on and tuning in, or becoming a Merrimack Community Television Volunteer Producer. These are your channels.
Who provides PEG Access TV in Merrimack?
The Town of Merrimack, more specifically it's CATV fund, which is funded each year by Adelphia Cable in way of 5% of their gross annual revenues from Merrimack Cable TV subscribers. The CATV fund is seperate from the Town's general fund. This is not an expense to residents outside of simply subscribing to any of the cable television packages. It is not an added tax and there is no fee to use PEG Access TV.
